| Race Lodging Bed & Breakfast Inn — 32 miles/53 min. Three night minimum. Beautiful rooms, fantastic bathrooms and great free breakfasts. Bathrobes, snacks, cable TV, mountain views, privacy, peace, quiet and other great fans for discussing the race. Great Location & Short Distance The inn is located in Mountain City, TN, the first town southwest of Bristol. We are 32 miles from the track via Hwy. 421. Alternate routes (also taking about 1 hour are via Elizabethton, TN and Damascus/Abingdon, VA). We're an easy drive from almost everywhere in the Southeast, Ohio River Valley and east of the Mississippi. Racing NASCAR fans--this is Mecca — Bristol Motor Speedway and “the world’s fastest half-mile track.” This is a 0.533-mile concrete oval, banked 36 degrees in the corners and 16 degrees on the straightaways, which are 650 feet long. The concrete racing surface is 40 feet wide-–an oversized surface street! Seating capacity in the stadium is over 160,000.
If you are among the lucky to have snagged tickets for NASCAR'S most sought-after race in Bristol, Tennessee, you now need lodging to match the excitement and fun of this event. Romantic or guy-friendly fun: Ladies, you can make this a romantic weekend, too!) $200 deposit required to hold the reservation today. It will be charged within the next 1-2 days. The balance will be charged 60-61 days prior to your arrival date. If the innkeeper chooses to waive prepayment of this deposit or full payment on specified date, the deposit is nonetheless owed and is only refundable as outlined below.
The inn is not responsible for unused rooms due to late or canceled airline flights, family emergencies, threat of bad weather and other travel-related mishaps or for changes in plans which shorten your stay.
If you must cancel: Your deposit will be returned minus $50 processing fee ONLY if you cancel more than 60 days before your arrival date. IF you cancel within 60 days in advance see (D) below. (A) phone the inn immediately so the rooms can go back in inventory (B) Find someone else to take the room reservations (cost will be $50 handling only) (C) Recommended: require that the purchaser of your tickets take your reservation then phone the inn with their own financial information. Your reservation in transferable to the same number of people at the same price (cost will be $50 handling/ see below for details of how this can happen).
(D) At 60 days prior to your day of arrival the reservation becomes guaranteed. Guaranteed means the inn holds a specific room just for you, rejecting all other offers. In return, you must pay for this room regardless of all other issues. This is the essence of the reservation contract for all rooms rented from this inn/owner during weekends where there is a NASCAR event in Bristol. TN. IF you cancel on the cancellation date or closer to the event date, your refund, if any, will depends on whether the room is rebooked.
(1) If we cannot--with reasonable effort--rebook the room at all, you will be charged for the entire stay. Rooms made available are posted on the internet within 24 hours of cancellation.
(B) If we rebook it for the same number of days, at the same price or higher/night you will be charged $50 and the balance of your deposit refunded after the guest uses the reservation and pays for it.
(C) IF we rebook for the same number of days but at a lesser price, you will owe the difference.
(D) If we rebook for a lesser number of days you will owe the difference.
We activity market the inn at all times and make a concerted effort to fill all rooms at the posted rates for the posted periods.

Bristol Track tours Tours are available daily except during major events, including drag strip, main track, Burton Smith Suite, and your own lap around the track at high speed. Open Monday - Saturday. Tours start on the hour 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday tours start on the hour noon - 4 p.m. Adults $5, Senior (55+) $4, Kids 6-12 $3, younger - free. Info and summer reservations: (423) 989-6960. The Burton Smith Building is just off Hwy. 11 (Volunteer Parkway). Walk through museum and gift shop are open all year: Monday - Saturday, 9-5; Sunday, noon - 5. Special Race Weekend Hours: 8- closes when shoppers clear after races.
